Analisis Efisiensi Faktor Produksi Usaha Tani Nanas (Ananas Comosus L.) Di Desa Kualu Nenas Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT
Kualu Nenas Village is one of the centers for pineapple development in
Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, because Kualu Nenas Village
has 805 hectares of pineapple gardens and an average production of ±30 tons per
hectare per year which contributes greatly to the pineapple production of Kampar
Regency. Pineapple farming is the main source of income in Kualu Nenas Village.
This study aims to describe the management of pineapple cultivation carried out
by farmers, to analyze the effect of the number of production factors on pineapple
productivity and to analyze the efficiency conditions of pineapple farming in the
village of Kualu Nenas. This research was conduct in Kualu Nenas Village,
Tambang District, Kampar Regency. Data analysis using descriptive statistics,
multiple linear regression analysis and a deterministic approach to Data
Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results of the study conclude that the
management of pineapple cultivation is largely incompatible with the
management of cultivation techniques on peatlands, especially in the aspects of
plant density, fertilizer use and ethrel. The results of multiple linear regression
analysis show that of the seven production factors use only three production
factors have a statistically significant effect on pineapple productivity, namely the
total use of pineapple staple population per hectare, total labor usage per hectare
and the amount of ethrel use per hectare, while four factors production which did
not significantly influence the productivity of pineapples, namely the amount of
ash fertilizer use per hectare, the amount of urea fertilizer usage per hectare, the
amount of KCL fertilizer usage per hectare and the amount of ZA fertilizer usage
per hectare. The analysis result of DEA's deterministic approach shows that most
of the farmers are technically efficient (74%). Only a few farmers are efficient in
terms of price (allocative) and economically with a percentage of 3%. The results
of the business efficiency analysis recommend that farmers reduce the use of
production factors to obtain an efficient condition.
