ABSTRACT
The electrical system that is generally installed in people's homes still uses a
manual switch box to turn it on and off. As a result of dependence on humans,
turning on and off the lights will have an impact on the use of electricity that is not
efficient every day, there is often difficulty to turn on the lights manually every time
when someone is busy and lazy to wake up relaxed to turn off the lights, so that it
has an impact on electricity payments. increase. In addition, the habit of looking
for a contact box to turn on the lights in the dark when returning home at night can
have an impact on minor accidents or the possibility of other unwanted events so
that these three problems are the basis for this research. The solution offered is the
manufacture of an arduino and bluetooth android based light control system
controlled in an application installed on a cellphone and using digital and manual
methods. In its application, the user can turn on the light as usual, namely using a
contact box, which is an exchange switch and using a digital electronic switch,
which is a Relay that is free from a centrum to be controlled using a cellphone to
turn on and turn off automatically on the light to be controlled and use the ACS712
sensor as a detector for a broken light.
