Diferensiasi Leukosit Ikan Jambal Siam (Pangasianodon Hypophthalmus) Yang Diberi Pakan Mengandung Jamu Fermentasi
ABSTRACT
The fermented herbal medicine consists of turmeric, kencur and ginger wich is
are antibacterial and antimicrobial and increase the growth of fish.This study aims
to obtain the best dose of fermented herbal medicine in the feeed to increase the
resistance of jambal siam fish after being challenged with aeromonas hydrophila
,seen the differentiation of leukocytes.. The method used was an experimental
method with a completely randomized design (CRD), one factor, namely the feed
containing fermented herbal medicine with 5 levels of treatment and three
replications. Kn: (feeding without being given fermented herbal medicine and not
being challenged with A. hydrophila bacteria), Kp: (feeding without being given
fermented herbs and being challenged with A. hydrophila bacteria), feed wich was
given fermented herbal medicine and tested against the dose of P1:200
ppm,P2:250 ppm,P3:300 ppm. Fish are reared in an aquarium measuring
30x30x40cm with a stocking density of 1 heads / 3 L, feeding 10% of the body
weight of the fish and feeding three times a day. Blood sampling of the test fish
was carried out 3 times, and on the 32 day a challenge test was conducted.namely
at the time of adaptation intramuscularly with a density of 108 CFU/mL bakteria
as much as 0,1 mL/ head. after 30 days of maintenance and 14 days after the
challenge test with A. hydrophila. The results showed that P2 was the best
treatment with Total leukocytes 10.26x104 cells / mm 83.00% Lymphocyte
8.33% Monocytes, 9.00% Neutrophils. phagocytic activity 36.33%, Relative
Protection level 90% and survival rate 93.33%. I was concluded that fish fed with
fermented herbal medicine could increase the immune response of jambal siam
fish and increase fish growth.
