Pengaruh Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Dan Iklim Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Gugus IV Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru
The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of principal’s academic supervision and school climate on teacher performance both simultaneously and partially. This research was conducted from April to July 2020. This research used a survey method. The respondents were teachers of SD Negeri Cluster IV, Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City, in which 97 people were obtained by using the simple random sampling technique. The Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires as a research instrument. The Data analysis in this study used multiple regression. The results showed that the effect of the Principal’s Academic Supervision on teacher performance was partially only 0.249. Although the influence of the principal's academic supervision variable on teacher performance is weak, it will have a positive effect on teacher performance. The school climate that affects teacher performance was 0.646. It means that the school climate variable has a strong effect and a significant effect on teacher performance. In other words, the more conducive the school climate, the more the teacher performance increases. The Principal Academic Supervision and School Climate simultaneously have an effect of 0.661 on Teacher Performance. It means that each increase in one unit of the principal's academic supervision score and the school climate simultaneously can increase the teacher performance score respectively 0.113 and 0.679 at a constant of 24.014. In other words, the more optimal the academic supervision carried out by the principal and the more conducive the school climate, the higher the performance teachers at Gugus IV primary school, rumbai coastal district, pekanbaru city.
