Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Kerja Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Negeri Di Gugus 1 Matahari Kecamatan Siak Hulu Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to identify the influence of principal leadership and
teacher work motivation on teacher performance. The research was conducted at
SDN Gugus 1 Matahari, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency in July - September
2020.
The population in this study were all PNS (Civil Servant) teachers and
non-PNS teachers in Gugus 1 Matahari, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency,
totaling 115 people. The sampling technique used random sampling with the
Slovin formula. The number of samples taken was 54 civil servant teachers and
non civil servant teachers at public elementary schools in Gugus 1 Matahari, Siak
Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The research analysis tool uses simple linear
regression analysis and multiple linear regression.
The results of the study concluded that partially 1) Principal leadership
has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance. The higher
the leadership role of the principal in directing the work of teachers, the higher
and better the teacher's performance and vice versa. 2) Teacher work motivation
has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance. The higher
the level of teacher work motivation, the higher and better the teacher's
performance, and vice versa. 3) Principal leadership and teacher work motivation
simultaneously have a positive and significant relationship with teacher
performance. In correlation, the magnitude of the relationship between principal
leadership and teacher performance is 48.3%; Teacher work motivation with
teacher performance is 38.7 and simultaneously the magnitude of the relationship
between principal leadership and teacher work motivation on teacher
performance is 55.3%
