Pengaruh Sertifikasi Guru Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru Sma Negeri Di Kecamatan Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis
The aims of this research is to analyze the effect of teacher certification and work motivation on teacher performance in public high schools in Bengkalis District Bengkalis Regency , from February to April 2020.
The population of this study were all certified teachers in SMA Negeri in Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, in total 134 people. The research respondents are all teachers who have been certified in public high schools in Bengkalis District Bengkalis Regency. In this study the samples were saturated samples, because all the certified teachers were samples. Data collection had carry by distributed questionnaires as a research instrument. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
The results of this study state that: (1) certification and teacher motivation work has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance of 0.512; (2) teacher certification positive and significant effect on teacher performance of 0.425; (3) work motivation positive and significant effect on teacher performance of 0.331. Teacher certification is a very strategic policy to improve the quality of teacher work through the process of giving teacher certificates to teachers who have met certain requirement, along with teacher certification requirements that require certain qualifications and competencies that entitle teachers to receive allowances. And with work motivation given to take action where the effort is given energy, directed, and sustainably to achieve a goal based on a sense of responsibility, so that someone becomes more disciplined in carrying out his job. Certification and work motivation have a good effect, so that it will improve teacher performance in the future.
