Analisis Gaya Dan Tipe Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Di Gugus Harapan Salo Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar

This study aims to analyze the style and type of school principal leadership as well as the inhibiting factors of the application of the leadership style and type of school principals in the Harapan Salo Cluster, Salo District, Kampar Regency. The research, which was conducted in the Hope Cluster, Salo District, included four schools, namely SD Negeri 001, SD Negeri 004, SD Negeri 006 and 008 as impact SD in the Harapan Salo Cluster, Salo District, Kampar Regency. Data collection includes observation, documentation and interviews. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative.
The results of the study explain that the leadership style of the principal in the Harapan Sala Gugus, Salo District, Kampar Regency is more directed towards a directing style because the principal has an important role, especially in directing teachers and education personnel, is able to provide motivation so that it can increase the morale of the work of the school. his subordinates in completing any work assigned to him. Meanwhile, the leadership type is more democratic, because the principal is willing to listen to input, criticism and suggestions from his subordinates. As for the inhibiting factors in its implementation, such as facilities and infrastructure, resources that are deemed less flexible, accountability in work, and curriculum that must be improved.
