Sistem Informasi PPDB Online Di Yayasan Pendidikan Cendana Riau

SMA Cendana Pekanbaru is a school unit under the auspices of the Riau Cendana Education Foundation. SMA Cendana Pekanbaru is one of the private schools that implements an online new student admission system. The online New Student Admissions Information System (PPDB) which is able to provide support for the management of new student admissions through an online system, with integrated storage media so that administrative data can be searched quickly, precisely and accurately so as to avoid the possibility of data misinformation.
This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the online PPDB information system and the supporting factors for the online PPDB information system at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru.
Based on the results of research related to the sub-focus of implementing the online PPDB information system at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru which includes: 1) to find out whether an online PPDB information system is needed at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru, especially in the system for admitting new online students, 2) the purpose of implementing the system This information is to improve the best service for prospective students in the online registration process at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru which can be accessed quickly and easily via computer and cellphone networks. Implementation of the online PPDB information system required by SMA Cendana Pekanbaru in terms of human resources, technology resources, cost / funding resources. 3) the selection of softwere has been made by SMA Cendana Pekanbaru with the criteria that it is easy to use, cheap, and can be used for a long time.
Supporting factors for the online PPDB information system at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru, which include: 1) Support from the Foundation regarding servers, domains, and hosting for database creation in accordance with the procedure has been carried out with the PPDB information system priority. 2) Support from the IT Foundation Helpdesk in the event of a problem in the process of implementing the online PPDB information system at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru 3) Support from developers who are ready to update the system in accordance with existing regulations in implementing the online PPDB information system at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru has been implemented properly, monitoring of the implementation of the PPDB information system is carried out continuously and at any time, so as to minimize problems that may arise, in addition to knowing whether the implementation of the information system has been achieved or not.
