Pengaruh Pemberian Relgh Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Benih Ikan Nilem (Osteochilus Hasselti) Pada Budidaya Sistem Resirkulasi
ABSTRACT
Nilem (Osteochilus hasselti) is a fish native to Indonesian waters and is
one of the freshwater consumption fish that lives in rivers and swamps. The
cultivation of nilem is profitable in terms of economy, environmental
sustainability and aquaculture production. Enlargement of nilem requires a
relatively long time and growth is not optimal. The acceleration of growth can be
done by applying the Recombinant Ephinephalus lanceolatus Growth Hormone
(rElGH), so that the growth rate will take place more quickly. In the enlargement
activity, the proper immersion dose of rElGH was not known to can stimulate the
growth of nilem. This research was conducted to determine the dose of immersion
rElGH that generates the highest growth and survival rate of nilem. The benefit of
this research is to provide information about the growth of nilem fish that are
given rElGH by immersion in different doses. This research was carried out in
April to May 2020 for 40 days in the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory,
Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The method used in this
research is the experimental method. Complete Randomized Design (CRD) one
factor with 5 levels of treatment and 3 replications. The treatment stage in this
study were P0 (without giving rElGH), P1 (giving rElGH through immersion dose
of 8 mg / L), P2 (giving rElGH through immersion dose of 12 mg / L), P3 (giving
rElGH through immersion dose of 16 mg / L ) and P4 (giving rElGH through
immersion dose of 20 mg / L). The results showed that giving rElGH through
immersion in nilem seeds with different doses had a significant effect (P
