Uji Formulasi Biofungisida Granular Berbahan Aktif Trichoderma Virens Endofit Dalam Mengendalikan Ganoderma Boninense Pat. Pada Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
Oil palm plantations in Riau Province have entered the stage of cultivation with an area of 56 thousand ha. The extent of rejuvenation of oil palms results in an abundance of organic matter and can become a hotbed for pests and pathogens that harm plants. One of the pathogens that attack oil palm plants is Ganoderma boninense. One alternative to control attacks Ganoderma boninense is the use of Trichoderma sp. endophytic derived from oil palm tissue in the form of a granular biofungicide formulation.
This This study aims to determine the best granular biofungicide formulation with the active ingredient of T. virens endophytic in controlling G. boninense. and knowing the effect of granular biofungicide formulation with the active ingredient Trichoderma virens endophytic on the growth of palm oil seedlings. The research was conducted in experimental garden and plant disease laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau from February 2017 to September 2018. The research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with the treatment tested was the T. virens formulation F0 = Control without treatment, F0- = Control negative (Ganoderma inoculant), F0 + = Positive control (15 ml T. virens inoculant + Ganoderma inoculant), F1 = 15 ml T. virens inoculant +100 g sago starch + 25 peat +25 g tapioca starch, F2 = 15 ml T. virens inoculant +100 g midrib flour + 25 sago dregs + 25 g tapioca flour, F3 = 15 ml T. virens inoculant + 100 g solid +25 g talc + 25 gflour tapioca, F4 = 15 ml T. virens inoculant + 100 g cocoa shell flour + 25 g zeolite + 25 g tapioca flour.
The results showed that F4 treatment showed the best granular formulation for the growth and development of T. virens endophytic, inhibition the infection of Ganoderma boninense attack on seedlings, and better seed growth observed in seedling height, root volume, number of midribs, root crown ratio and dry weight of oil palm seedlings.
