Pendugaan Penampilan Produksi F2 Hasil Dari Persilangan Kacang Hijau Siak Dengan Kacang Hijau Indragiri Hilir (Vigna Radiata L.)
This research was conducted to provide information in the estimation of F2 yield from crosses between Siak and Indragiri Hilir mungbeans and to study the genetic progress of F2 production quality. This research ultilized a completely randomized design (CRD) and the Duncan test. This research was conducted in March 2020 and finissed at Juny 2020. There were 50 plant plots for 50 lines. In one crop plot of 2x2 m, there are seven rows of plants with seven rows, resulting in 49 plants.This study used 46 lines compared to the parents (Siak mungbean and Indragiri Hilir, each with 2 lines).
The results of the study obtained data on genetic progress which would later be assessed through plant heritability. The heritability value of the plant is a value which may determine the success of a plant crossing. The plant height, and and number of branches were significantly different for each line. Generative parameters in the form of flower emergence time, pod length, number of pods, number of seeds and seed weight showed significantly different results for each line. For high heritability values obtained from plant height, flower emergence period, pod count, seed count and seed weight parameters.The moderate heritability value has been indicated by the productive branch and pod length parameter.
