Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write(Ttw) Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Kelas V Sd Negeri 194 Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT. This study is conducted because of the lack of students’ ability to solve
Mathematics’ problems during the learning process, so that their learning outcomes
are fairly low and not in accordance with the minimum index (KKM) set by the
school. The purposes of this study are to determine and describe the effect of think
talk write cooperative learning model on mathematic problem solving ability of fifth
grade students. This study is a quasi-experimental study. The quasi design used in
this study is non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this study is fifth
grade students of SDN 194 Pekanbaru which is 31 students of V-A and 31 students of
V-B. The result of this study shows that there is an effect of think talk write
cooperative learning model on problem solving ability of the fifth grade students of
SDN 194 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the result of the post-test that the large
number of students in experiment class is in very good and good criteria which 9
students and 12 students are compared to 3 students with very good criteria and 12
students with good criteria of control class. Moreover, the average value of these two
classes shows that the experiment class reaches higher score. Think talk write
cooperative learning model has an effect on mathematic problem solving ability of
fifth grade students of SDN 194 Pekanbaru.
