Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the professional competence of the
teacher at State Primary School 43 Mandau of Bengkalis. This research was conducted at
State Primary School 43 Mandau of Bengkalis on September 2020. The type of this research
was quantitative which gives the description about the current condition on the research
object which was the profesional competence of the teacher at State Primary School 43
Mandau of Bengkalis. Sampling in this research used is a saturated sampling technique. The
samples of this research were all teachers of State Primary School 43 Mandau of Bengkalis
amounted 16 teachers. Data collection techniques used is a questionnaire via google form
with the instrument of this study is statement about teacher professional competence with
four alternative answers with the number 57 questions. The research results conclude that
the teachers’ professional competence at State Primary School 43 Mandau of Bengkalis
overall reaches 80,91% with “Good” category. The number of core competency who scored
in the interval 85-100 with the category of "Very Good" amounted to 1 core competency, at
intervals of 70-84 with the category "Good" amounted to 2 core competency, at intervals of
50-69 with the category "Enough" amounted to 1 core competency, interval 0-49 with the
category "Less" amounted to 0 core competency.
