The making of a forecasting system (predictions) for visitors to the Pratama Tiga
Permata Clinic aims to make it easier for clinic owners to predict the number of
visitors to the Pratama Tiga Permata clinic over a period of a year and the results
of predictions of clinic visitors who aim to find out whether there has been an
increase or decrease made for predictions (1 year) next quickly. This final project
explains the process of prediction of clinic visitors using the double exponential
smoothing method. This double exponential smoothing method is a prediction
method that many researchers use in making predictions and the results can be
said to be valid. The double exponential smoothing method is a double refinement
method in the initial stage of determining the alpha value that will be used after
that data input for the number of clinic visitors in the previous year from the 2014
to 2018 data, and the output results are in order to find out the predicted number
of visitors in the following year, 2019 The number of predictions using an alpha
value of 0.1 General patients was 1002 by measuring the error rate using MAD
8.8, MSE 118, and MAPE 0.87%. The method of measuring the best system
accuracy uses the MAPE method which has the accuracy of the smallest error
rate.
