Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Bakteri Penghasil Biosurfaktan Asal Limbah Cair Rumah Makan Beringin Eddy Panam, Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Pollution of oil waste in the waters can have a negative influence on the
aquatic environment, either directly on aquatic organisms and fishery
activities. Biosurfactant is a surfactant produced by bacteria that is able to
degrade the oil content in the waters. This study aims to identify
biosurfactant-producing bacteria from the liquid waste of Beringin Eddy
restaurant, Jl. HR. Soebrantas Panam, Simpang Baru, Tampan sub district,
Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. This research uses survey method and
conducted in July to September 2020. Samples are diluted and enriched using
TSB (Tryptic Soy Broth) media for 24 hours. Then bacterial isolates are
identified through observation of biochemical activity and RNA (16SR).
Types of bacteria obtained based on identification are Aeromonas veronii,
Staphylococous sp. Enterobacter sp. and Micrococcus sp. The emulsification
index based on the results showed that the type of bacteria Aeromonas
veronii by 60%, Staphylococous sp. 50%, Enterobacter sp. 53,4%, and
Micrococcus sp. 50%.
