Pengaruh Investasi Dan Bantuan Keuangan Cina Terhadap Pembangunan Nasional Angola Pasca 2002

The objective of this study is to determine the effect and impact of Chinese
investment and financial assistance on the national development of Angola after
2002. Angola as a country that has just emerged from the situation of prolonged
civil conflict in 2002 has now begun to organize a new life in order to achieve
national development in general.
In order to carry out the development vision in general, the economic and
social situation in Angola has not yet supported this direction. Economic
development activities, improving the welfare of the Angolan people are not fully
able to be carried out internally by Angola. The participation of other States and
international agencies greatly assisted Angola in this initial period. As a country
that has abundant natural resources, especially petroleum, this actually becomes
the capital to carry out the development vision.
By using perspective of interdependence, it can be explored more deeply
that no country in the world can survive without cooperation with other countries.
Cooperation between countries: trade, investment and assistance mechanisms is
something that must be done and must be carried out by each country.
China's financial assistance has had a massive impact on Angola's
development. Basic infrastructure projects have contributed to the reintegration
of the Angolan economy, increasing electrical connectivity leading to rapid
advances in mobility of people and goods.
The impact of financial assistance and investment for the recipient
country, in this case Angola as the recipient country, is something that is
important to know. For Angola this framework of cooperation brings significant
benefits to the country: helping to support economic growth, technology transfer,
integration of goods and people, encouraging social development efforts for
society, improving public health, supporting Angola's education sector, and
opening new jobs for Angola.
Meanwhile, for the country's investing in this regard, China is the
country's effort to increase the opportunity to access raw materials for oil
resources which are needed in the framework of China's industry. This can be
realized through the mechanism of a cooperation agreement with Angola, in
which one clause states that before loans and investments are made, Angola's
natural oil resources must be shared jointly with China. On the other hand, this
cooperation through financial assistance and investment is China's geopolitical
strategic effort to increase its role in the international stage as the main partner
and donor, and the last point certainly provides the greatest opportunity for
Chinese contractors or companies to expand their business in Angola to do The
physical development of infrastructure, of course, is also a consideration for
China to make the decision to invest and financial assistance in Angola.
