Pemanfaatan Tepung Azolla (Azolla Microphylla) Yang Difermentasi Dalam Pakan Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Gurami (Osprhonemus Gouramy)
ABSTRACT
Azolla (Azolla microphylla) can be used as fish feed and has a high protein
content of 24-30%. The purpose of this study is to know the use percentage of azolla
flour waste is fermented with kombucha in feed to increase feed efficiency, protein
retention, and gouramy (Osphronemus gouramy) fingerling growth. This research
was conducted for 56 days at the Reservoir of Fisheries And Marine Faculty, Riau
University. The research uses a ompletely randomized design (CRD) with one
factor, five treatments, and three replications. The test feed used in this study was
artificial feed with a protein content of 30% with a percentage utilization of azolla
flour fermentation namely 0%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%. Test feed given as much
as 10 with the frequency of feeding three times throughout the day is at 08.00, 12.00
and 16.00 WIB. Gouramy fish with initial weights ranging from 1.62 ± 0.59 g / fish
and put in a cage measuring 1 x1x1 m3 with a stocking density of 25 fish/m3. The
container used to observe digestibility parameters is an aquarium with a size of
60x40x40 cm3 with a stocking density of 20 fish/cm3. The diet used for the
parameters of feed digestibility and protein digestibility was added with Cr2O3 as
much as 0.5% of the amount of diet made. The diet was given ad satiation with a
frequency of 3 times a day is at 08.00, 12.00 and 17.00 WIB. The feces that have
been collected and dried are tested for Cr2O3 and protein content. The result of this
research showed the best treatment is P4 (30% TAF) with feed digestibility 68,55%,
protein digestibility 73,98%, feed efficiency 33,52%, protein retention 21,41%,
specific growth rate 3,54% and survival rate 89,33%.
