Pengaruh Umpan Terhadap Hasil Tangkapan Bubu Di Sungai Rokan Kecamatan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

Abstract
This research was undertaken in the Rokan River, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir
Regency, especially in Rantau Bais Village for 20 days of research on September
to October 2020. The purpose of research was to know determine the effect of using
different bait on the catch of traps. The fishermen in the village have a habit of
using coconut dregs, rubber tree seeds and oil palm kernels, so it is necessary to
determine the type of bait that is suitable for increasing traps catch. The three types
of bait have an effect on the catch. In coconut dregs bait (u1), the results obtained
were 525 individuals weighing 49,350 grams, 318 rubber seed bait (u2) weighing
17,184 grams and 396 rubber tree seed bait (u3) weighing 32,052 grams. Baung
fish and giant prawns are the most catches of the three types of bait used. Coconut
dregs bait is the bait that gets the most catch. The results after being analyzed using
the Analysis of Variance method show that all bait has an influence on the catch.
Then a further test was carried out using BNT, it was found that the coconut dregs
bait had the highest effect on the catch with an average value of 105 while the
lowest was rubber seed bait with a value of 63,6.
