ABSTRACT
The productivity of the boat chart fishing gear at the Carocok Tarusan
Beach Fishing Port, West Sumatra Province has fluctuated, from 2 sample vessels
there are differences in the number of catches. the purpose of this research is to
know and determine the productivity of fishing boat chart. And knowing the
composition of the types of fish caught by the boat chart and the frequency of
their appearance. This research was conducted in November - January 2019 at the
Carocok Tarusan Beach Fishing Port, West Sumatra. The method used in this
research is a survey method, namely by observing and collecting data directly
about fishing activities using fishing gear chart boats at Carocok Tarusan Beach
Fishing Port. The highest production at KM. Zidan is 690 Kg and the lowest
production value is 19 Kg. And the highest production at KM. Wafik-02 is 5250
Kg and the lowest production value is 300 Kg. The amount of catch per boat is
based on hauling time.
