Kajian Kesiapan Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Carocok Tarusan Provinsi Sumatera Barat Menuju Pelabuhan Perikanan Berbasis Ecoport

ABSTRACT
Ecoport-based fishing port is an environment-based fishing port as a reference for
fishery port management that adopts the principle of sustainable development in the
application of ecofishingport which aims to harmonize economic aspects while still prioritizing
environmental aspects. This research was conducted at the Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP)
Carocok Tarusan with aimed to know the readiness of the PPP Carocok Tarusan in West
Sumatera Province to an ecoport-based fishing-port. This research was held on December 07-
19, 2020 with used a survey method. The results showed that the conditions and activities of
fishing port facilities and support related to the ecoport at Carocok Tarusan Coastal Fishing
Port (PPP Carocok Tarusan) were known to be complete and in well-maintained condition, by
obtained an ecoport index score 2.1 which means the port is already based on ecoport.
