Analisis Kebutuhan Perbekalan Melaut Kapal Penangkap Ikan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Bungus Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Abstract
This research discusses what factors influence the amount of supplies
needed for fishing vessels carried by fishing vessels and how it relates to the total
need for marine supplies in the Bungus Ocean Fishing Port, Padang City, West
Sumatra Province, which was carried out from February to March 2021. The need
for supplies at sea is one of the important activities at fishing ports. This is
because these activities will determine the success of fishing operations by
fishermen. The supplies needed by fishermen for fishing include fuel, fresh water,
filling ice, logistical needs in the form of food and others. The research method
used in this research is a survey method. Meanwhile, to observe the activities
carried out when filling supplies at sea using a sample determined by purposive
sampling. Analysis of the data in this study using multi-collinearity analysis and
multiple linear regression analysis. By looking at the value of the correlation
coefficient, the coefficient of determination, and the significant value (F test). The
results of this study are all factors such as ship size, number of catches, number of
crew members, and length of fishing trip which have a positive effect on the total
need for fishing supplies carried by fishing vessels and have a significant (real)
effect between variables. independent with the dependent variable.
