Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Kecerdasan Spiritual Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kecamatan Dumai Barat Kota Dumai
Job satisfaction is one of the most important factors to get optimal results from the work done. In the context of educational organizations, job satisfaction in general can be formulated as a general response of teachers in the form of attitudes that are displayed as a result of perceptions regarding matters relating to the implementation of their duties as a teacher. When a teacher fulfills his job satisfaction, he will try his best to do the tasks and work that is his responsibility.
A teacher must have adequate emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence, because emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence are the basic capital for a teacher to become a figure who is expected and able to provide inner enlightenment for his students. The results of the teacher’s work are not only seen from perfect work abilities, but also the ability to master and manage oneself and the ability to build relationships with others.
Thus, teacher job satisfaction is greatly influenced by the emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence of the teacher. Teacher job satisfaction is characterized by the emergence of a sense of satisfaction and the completion of tasks that are the responsibility of the teacher on time. In addition, the emergence of dedication, enthusiasm, craft, perseverance, initiative, and high work creativity in work. Teachers who have high job satisfaction can be more productive than teachers who have low job satisfaction.
Based on the background of the problems described above, several problems can be formulated, among others: 1) Is there a significant influence between emotional intelligence on job satisfaction of State Elementary School teachers in West Dumai District, Dumai City? 2) Is there a significant influence between spiritual intelligence on job satisfaction of State Elementary School teachers in West Dumai District, Dumai City? 3) Is there a significant influence between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence simultaneously on job satisfaction of State Elementary School teachers in West Dumai District, Dumai City? This study aims to determine the effect of variables: 1) emotional intelligence on teacher job satisfaction, 2) spiritual intelligence on teacher job satisfaction, 3) emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence together on teacher job satisfaction. The research respondents were public elementary school teachers in the West Dumai District, Dumai City totaling 238 people with a sample of 150. The data was collected through questionnaires as a research instrument. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis, inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The results showed that there was a significant influence between emotional intelligence on teacher job satisfaction of 0.367, and there was a significant influence between spiritual intelligence on teacher job

satisfaction of 0.263. Meanwhile, together there is an influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on teacher job satisfaction of 0.397.
