Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Bakteri Penghasil Biosurfaktan Pada Air Kolam Anaerob Ipal Industri Minyak Kelapa Sawit
Abstract
Biosurfactant producing bacteria live in the environment where oil remains are present such as the anaerobic pond water treatment in the palm oil industry. A research conducted in September-October 2019 aims to find out the biosurfactant producing bacteria. Sampling was conducted in the anaerobic pond in the PT. Eka Dura Indonesia, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The bacteria samples were isolated and identified using a biochemical method and selective agar medias, namely the Blood Agar and MacConkey Agar. Results of emulsification test shown that there are two bacterial isolates that are able to produce biosurfactants, namely F1 and F2 isolates. These bacteria are identified as Enterobacter aerogenes (30%) and Proteus mirabilis (36.7%). P. mirabilis shown higher emulsification index and after being analyzed using the PCR 16S rDNA, the result indicate that the bacteria is Proteus mirabilis strain FUA1240.
