Pengaruh Keramba Jaring Apung (Kja) Terhadap Tingkat Kesuburan Perairan Di Sekitar Dam Site Waduk Plta Koto Panjang Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
Fish cultivation activities in floating net cages (KJA) produce residual feed and residual metabolism. This study aims to look at the fertility status and influence of floating net cages (KJA) on the fertility rate of the waters around the Dam Site of PLTA Koto Panjang Reservoir. Sampling was conducted at three stations, namely station 1 (slightly KJA), station 2 (medium KJA), and station 3 (solid KJA). Sampling is done 3 times at intervals of time once a week. Water quality parameters are temperature, transparancy, pH, dissolved oxygen, CO2, total phosphate, chlorophyll-a, and nitrates. The average concentration of total phosphate ranges from 0.27-0.33 mg/L, chlorophyll-a concentration ranges from 2.76-16.31 μ/L, and tranparancy ranges from 99-123 cm. Average water quality temperature 29-32.33°C, acidity degree (pH)° 5-6, dissolved oxygen 4,47-6,99 mg/L, CO2 5,32-15,98 mg/L, and nitrate concentration 0.04-0.08 mg/L. The results of this study were obtained that floating net cages affect concentrations total phosphate , chlorophyll-a, and nitrates, but ecologically the fertility status is the same. Judging from the two-way anova statistical test concentrations total phosphate , chlorophyll-a, and nitrates does not differ markedly between stations and between times. TSI (Trophic States Index) value: 63.08-68.69. Based on TSI value, the waters around Dam Site of Koto Panjang Reservoir can be categorized as moderate to eutrophic.
