Implementasi Program Literasi Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 006 Bangsal Aceh Dumai
The development of education and culture is directed at improving the
quality of life of Indonesian people, increasing productivity and competitiveness,
revolutionizing the nation's character, as well as strengthening diversity and
strengthening Indonesia's social restoration. To achieve that, character
development and strengthening through literacy activities is a comprehensive
effort carried out through the development of an educational ecosystem, both in
the family, school and community environment. All of which can be achieved by
cultivating a good literate life as promoted by the government, namely the
National Literacy Movement. This is where the 006 Bangsal Aceh State
Elementary School takes part in the government's program, namely the National
Literacy Movement. In response to this, the researchers observed for
approximately five years the literacy program at this school.
This study aims to describe (1) How is the implementation of the Literacy
program, (2) What are the obstacles and solutions made in the Implementation of
the Literacy Program, (3) How are students' reading interest related to the
Implementation of the Aceh Ward 006 Literacy Program, and also (4) How the
relationship between students' interest in writing and the Implementation of the
Literacy Program at the 006 Public Elementary School Bangsal Aceh Dumai.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The
research data sources were principals, 5 teachers, and 4 students at SD Negeri
006 Bangsal Aceh, Dumai City. Data collection techniques using observation
techniques, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the
Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing
conclusions. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation and source
triangulation.
The results showed that (1) the implementation of the literacy program
had not been realized properly, (2) the obstacles to implementation were a less
supportive environment, incomplete facilities and infrastructure, support from
unliterate parents, and the lack of examples from teachers in literacy habituation
in schools. , the solution is to create a literate environment, complete school
literacy support facilities and infrastructure, add a collection of books that attract
students' reading interest, and try to motivate teachers to want to give good
examples in literacy activities at school (3) students' interest in reading and The
number of students at SD Negeri 006 Bangsal Aceh, Dumai City is still very low
regarding the implementation of literacy programs implemented in schools. (4)
students' interest in writing at SD Negeri 006 Bangsal Aceh, Dumai City is still
very low regarding the implementation of literacy programs implemented in
schools.
