Perbaikan Sifat Kimia Media Inceptisol Yang Diaplikasi Kalsit Dan Kiserit Serta Pengaruhnya Terhadap Hasil Dan Kadar Mineral Daun Kelor (Moringa Oleifera Lam.)
Moringa is a multipurpose plant, so it attracts people's interest to plant it. Moringa planting by the community is mostly done on Inceptisol soils that have low fertility. Given the importance of growth and productivity of Moringa plants on Inceptisol soils and high leaf Mg levels, a study was carried out on improving the chemical properties of inceptisol media applied to Calcite and Kiserite and their effect on yield and mineral content of Moringa leaves (moringa oleifera Lam.). This study aims to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of Calcite and Kiserite treatment on the improvement of the chemical properties of Inceptisol soil media, plant physiology, increase in leaf and stover yields and mineral content of Moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.) leaves.
Completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was the administration of Calcite with 3 dose levels, namely C1 : 0.0 ton ha-1 as control, C2 : 2.11 ton ha-1 and C3 : 4.22 ton ha-1. The second factor is Kiserit with 4 levels, namely the dose of K1 : 0.0 ton ha-1 as control, K2 : 0.35 ton ha-1, K3 : 0.45 ton ha-1 and K4 : 0.55 ton ha-1. 1. Parameters observed: chemical properties of the media (Al-dd, H-dd, pH, total N, available P, CEC, Ca, Mg, K and Na), plant physiology (photosynthetic rate and leaf chlorophyll content), leaf yield and stover , as well as the mineral content of Moringa leaves (N, P, K, Ca and Mg). Observational data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at 5% significance level, followed by Duncan's multiple distance test at 5% significance level.
Increased Mg and decreased Al-dd and Ca media, at a dose of 0.55 tons ha-1 increased Mg and decreased Al-dd, Ca and Na media. The application of Calcite and Kiserite did not significantly affect the rate of photosynthesis and leaf chlorophyll content, but both significantly increased leaf and stover yields. For leaf mineral content, the interaction of Calcite and Kiserite was only found in the Ca content of the leaves. Calcite significantly increased the K content of the leaves at all doses and had no effect on the N, P, Ca and Mg content of the leaves. Kiserite application had no significant effect on all parameters of Moringa leaf mineral content observed.
