Sistem Keamanan Sepeda Motor Menggunakan Sms Gateway Berbasis Arduino Uno

ABSTRACT
The increase in people’s purchasing power of motorbikes has resulted in an increase
in criminal acts, such as motorcycle theft. The theft occurred due to a lack of security
on the motorcycle. According to this problem, a Motorcycle Security System Using
an Arduino Uno Based SMS Gateway was created. To run the system, Arduino Uno
is needed as a system control device, GPS Shield to track motorcycle coordinates,
GPRS Shield as a device for sending and receiving SMS and relay as switching.
From the results of the tests carried out 10 times, the average time needed to turn on
the motorcycle ignition is 8,68 seconds, to start the motorcycle engine is 7,83
seconds, to turn off the motorcycle is 8,02 seconds. In the testing of tracking
motorcycle, the system is able to track motorcycles with a displacement of 500
meters to 5,8 kilometers and the system is able to provide SMS notifications to user if
within 10 seconds the motorcycle moves more than or equal to 20 meters with a
calculation of the displacement route of 7,85 kilometers.
