Hubungan Pola Makan Dengan Status Gizi Pada Remaja Putri Smpn 7 Pekanbaru
Nutritional status is determined by the degree of physical need for energy and
nutrients, retrieved from dietary intake, in which the required amount can be
measured. Being part of the factors that can directly affect a person’s nutritional
status as being obese or malnourished, Dietary intake is essential. The purpose of
this study was to discover the relationship between dietary intake and nutritional
status in adolescent girls at SMPN 7 Pekanbaru. This research is an analytical
observational study with a Cross-Sectional approach. The sampling technique used
the purposive sampling method with 60 respondents. The dietary intake data was
obtained by using the Food Recall 2 x 24 hours questionnaire and nutritional status
measurement of height and weight using a microtoise and bodyweight scale.
Physical activity and parents’ income as confounding variables were obtained by
using Adolescent Physical Activity Recall Questionnaire (APARQ) and forms.
Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 76.7% of girls
had a poor dietary intake and 30.0% had an abnormal nutritional status. The
results of the bivariate analysis showed no relationship between dietary intake
(p=0.095), physical activity (p=0.573), and parents’ income (p=0.542) with
