Sistem Pemasaran Karet Pada Pasar Konvensional Dan Lelang Di Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
ABSTRACT
Rubber is one of the agricultural sectors that support the national economy. This
study aims to determine marketing system of rubber and analyze marketing costs,
marketing margins, marketing profits, farmer's share and marketing efficiency in
conventional markets and auction markets in Kuantan Mudik District. The
sampling method of farmers is by purposive sampling as many as 70 people and
sampling of traders by the census method. The results showed that the rubber
marketing system in the auction market occurred because of the problems
experienced by farmers in the marketing process in conventional markets. The
problem faced by farmers is that the length of the marketing channel causes the
price received by farmers to be low and wholesalers are able to suppress the price
of rubber due to the quality of the bokar. The auction market occurs on the
awareness of farmers in the field of rubber marketing. Farmers participating in the
auction market must meet the bokar quality standards set by APKARKUSI and
join a farmer group or farmer group association or UPPB. The average price
received by farmers in the conventional market in the marketing channel I is
Rp5.497,14/kg and the marketing channel II is Rp5.954,17/kg, while in the
auction market it is Rp7.367,50/kg. In marketing analysis, there are differences
between the two marketing systems, which can be seen from the average
marketing costs, marketing margins, marketing profits, farmer's share and
marketing efficiency.
