Program Peduli Dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup Di Sekolah (PBLHS) SDN 183 Pekanbaru Sebagai Sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional
Along with the increasing environmental problems that occur, it is
important for every human being to implement a lifestyle that loves the
environment and instills character education. In an effort to manage the
environment, the character that must be embedded in individuals is the character
of caring for the environment through the concept of green school and green
curriculum which is applied to institutions in Indonesia, one of which is schools
(Wardani, 2018). Based on the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment
Number 05 of 2013 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of the
Adiwiyata Program, to achieve the Adiwiyata goal, schools have prepared
everything related to 4 program components in the implementation of the
Adiwiyata program, including: 1) Environmentally Insight Policies, 2)
Implementation of Environmentally Based Curriculum, 3 ) Participatory-Based
Environmental Activities and 4) Management of Environmentally Friendly
Supporting Facilities.
This study aims to evaluate the planning and implementation of the
environmental care and culture movement towards PBLHS planning at the 183
Public Elementary School Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in the area of
SDN 183 Pekanbaru in December 2020. The tools and materials used in this study
were a questionnaire/questionnaire and a tape recorder/mobile phone. The
research approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative and
quantitative. The research method used is a survey method with interview
techniques, observation and using a questionnaire. The population in this study
were all elements in the school, with a total sample of 100 people. Analysis of the
data used in this study is using the validity test and reliability test.
The results of this study indicate that the policy on environmental protection
and management made by the government through education will be carried out
well if it achieves the Adiwiyata award. By planning and implementing the
PBLHS program that is applied to students and educators such as protecting the
surrounding environment, planting trees, and implementing a clean and healthy
Saturday program, students will be aware of the importance of the PBLSH
program both in the school environment and in the neighborhood where they live.
With the participation of all school members related to this program, it is hoped
that all components of the school community can implement and achieve the goals
of the program. Environmentally friendly facilities and infrastructure owned by
schools can assist educators in implementing as well as practicing the declaration
of environmentally friendly programs which are the foundation of the PBLHS
program.
The implementation of the school environmental culture program (PBLHS)
stimulates students in the spirit of developing an environment-based school by
90%. The success of this program can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students
in developing Adiwiyata schools, preserving TOGA, as well as the clean and
healthy Saturday program.
