Analisis Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Pada Buku Tematik Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas II Tema Hidup Rukun
This research is motivated by the many news found about cases of bullying between fellow students at school, fights, discriminating in friends, and other cases of violence committed by elementary school children which proves the need for character cultivation so that students can live in harmony in their environment. Therefore we need textbooks that are able to educate the character of students to live in harmony in the surrounding environment, one of the student textbooks that educates the character of harmony is the class II student book entitled Living in harmony. This study aims to classify the values of character education contained in the 2013 Curriculum Integrated Thematic book for elementary school students grade II The Theme of Living in harmony. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of content analysis research, conducted with a documentation study and the instrument used is a data recording sheet. The results show that this book has integrated 18 character education values that have been mentioned by the Ministry of National Education, namely religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, respect for achievement, friendly or communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care about social and responsibility.
