Kinerja Clustering Routing Pada Wireless Sensor Network (Wsn) Untuk Aplikasi Kebakaran Hutan
ABSTRACT
WSN is a system that can detect and monitor conditions remotely by placing
sensor nodes at the location. One example of a WSN application is an forest fire
application. Forest fire applications are one way of preparing for danger. In this
thesis, simulation of WSN network for forest fire applications is carried out using
three protocols, namely LEACH, LEACH-C and Modified LEACH. This
simulation is run using NS-2 software version 2.35 on Centos 6.7 operating
system. Scenarios from the simulation are variations in the number of nodes and
variations in burned nodes with the measured results being throughput, packet
loss, and energy consumed. The simulation results show that in the variation of
nodes, every increase in the number of nodes the throughput value for the three
protocols also increases. the highest value is found in the LEACH-C protocol.
while for packet loss the increasing number of nodes of the three protocols also
increased, but the highest packet loss value was found in the LEACH protocol and
for energy consumption also increased with the increasing number of nodes, low
energy consumption was found in the Modified LEACH protocol. In the number of
burnt node variations, the throughput and packet loss values of LEACH-C and
LEACH are decreasing. Meanwhile, this performance index tends to be stable in
Modified LEACH. Likewise, the Modified LEACH energy consumption has the
same pattern as the throughput and packet loss. There is a significant in the
amount of energy consumed in LEACH-C on the contrary, but it increases slowly
in LEACH.
