Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobentos Di Perairan Muara Angke Teluk Jakarta
ABSTRCT
This research was carried out from July to September 2021 at Muara Angke
Teluk Jakarta, North Jakarta City. The method used in this research is a survey
method. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the
macrozoobenthos community which includes species, diversity, and dominance of
macrozoobenthos found in the waters of Muara Angke, Jakarta Bay.
Muara Angke Bay is a habitat for many types of gastropods. Muara Angke
is one of the areas in Jakarta Bay which is the main area for fishing boat ports in
Jakarta. Administratively, Muara Angke is located in Kapuk Muara Village,
Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta Municipality. There are 3 observation
stations including in the estuary area (station 1), fisherman settlement area (station
2), and port area (station 3).
The macrozoobenthos found during the research in Muara Angke waters
consisted of 5 species, including Lumbriculus sp, Polypedilum sp, Pupa of
Chironomidae, Melanoides sp, Pomacea sp with densities ranging from 1,319-2,748
ind/m2. From the research conducted, the macrozoobenthos community structure
obtained is the diversity index value (H') ranging from 2.59-3.47, the dominance
index value (C) ranging from 0.27-0.34. Organic matter ranged from 9.29 to
13.36%. Meanwhile, the type of sediment fraction that dominates in the waters of
the estuary of Angke Bay in Jakarta is sandy mud and muddy gravel. Parameters of
water quality in the waters of the estuary Angke Bay Jakarta are temperatures
ranging from 29-30oC, current speed ranging from 15.18-24.91 cm/sec, depth
ranging from 12.2 to 20.5 cm, pH is 6, dissolved oxygen obtained is around 4 ,5-5.6
mg/L and salinity ranged from 29.06 to 29.36 ppt. The condition of the waters of
the Angke Bay estuary can support the life of Macrozoobenthos organisms.
