Pembentukan Protocorm Like Bodies (Plbs) Dari Biji Anggrek Sendu Grammatophyllum Stapeliiflorum Dengan Penambahan Air Rebusan Ubi Jalar (Ipomea Batatas L.) Secara In Vitro
The orange orchid (Grammatophyllum stapeliiflorum) is a type of orchid of the
genus Grammatophyllum. Orchids have an attraction as an ornamental plant for
the community because of morphological parts such as the shape of the stem,
faded flower color and the shape of the flower that rises down like a teary
expression. The existence of orchids that are difficult to find because of
environmental damage, it is necessary to do this research, one of the efforts made
is with in vitro techniques. This study aims to find out the effect of giving water to
sweet potato stew (Ipomea batatas L.) and determine the best concentration in the
formation of Protocorm Like Bodies (PLBs) using the seed explan G.
stapeliiflorum. The study used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) analysis
consisting of treatment (0.50,100,150,200 ml/l) of sweet potato stew water. The
results showed that all treatments in this study gave a 100% survival percentage, a
concentration of 200 ml/l of sweet potato boiled water gave a faster emergence
time for the formation of PLBs, namely 67.2 HST (days after planting) which was
characterized by round, small and green bulges, and the concentration sweet
potato boiled water for the best growth of PLBs is 200 ml/l this indicates an
increase in the growth of PLBs.
