Local Fashion Center Di Pekanbaru Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Ekspresionisme

ABSTRACT
The growth of fashion interest in Indonesia has increased rapidly every
year. The community does not only act as consumers, but begins to produce and
introduce products with their respective brands. The Local Fashion Center is
designed to accommodate informational, commercial, recreational and
educational activities. This design uses an Expressionist Architecture approach,so
that local product producers can inspire to be more expressive in presenting their
works in the fashion field. One of the hallmarks of Expressionist Architecture is to
respect freedom in design, resulting in non-monotonous building forms and the
use of expressive colors that allow visitors to feel the emotions expressed by the
Architect. In designing this Local Fashion Center, descriptive qualitative methods
are used which aim to understand the object being studied in depth and develop
concepts on the problems faced by explaining the reality related to the search for
a theory.
