Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Moodle Pada Pokok Bahasan Sistem Gerak Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas XI SMA/MA
Education in the 21st century demands modern and professional education
management with an academic and educational nuance. So the need for
enlightenment and empowerment of every type and level of education. One of
these enlightenment and empowerment can be done from the aspect of
procurement of teaching materials, teaching materials can be pursued by
developing teaching materials continuously. The development of teaching
materials can take advantage of technological developments that occur in the
current era of globalization, one of which is the development of e-modules based
on Moodle.
This study aims to determine the quality of the validation, practicality,
simulation test and limited test of the Moodle-based E-Module which was
developed on the subject of the motion system and to determine the effect of the
Moodle-based E-Module on the subject of the Movement System on the learning
motivation of SMA/MA students.
This research consists of two stages, namely the first stage of media
development using Research & Development through the ADDIE approach in the
Master Program of FKIP UR, the second stage is the implementation of the
application of e-modules based on moodle. The media validation stage involved 5
subjects (1 media expert, 1 material expert, 1 linguist, 1 pedagogic expert, and 1
teacher). Feasibility assessment by experts using validation sheets. The practical
test phase involved 5 people, the simulation test involved 5 master students at the
University of Riau majoring in biology and teachers, and the limited trial involved
40 students. Assessment of the practicality of the media using a questionnaire
response. Data analysis used descriptive analysis assisted by Microsoft Office
Excel 2010. The trial phase was also limited to see the effect of the Moodle-based
e-module developed on students' learning motivation. Assessment of learning
motivation which consists of 5 indicators, namely desire, encouragement, hope,
appreciation, and interesting activities using a learning motivation questionnaire
sheet. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software.
The results of the e-module development research show that the quality of
the validation is very valid (3.54), while the practicality test is practical (78.4).
The results of the one to one simulation test are very good (86.94) and the small
group simulation is good (79.32). This means that the quality of the Moodle-based
e-module is very valid, practical, and very good.
The results of the application test also showed that there was a significant
effect of moodle-based e-modules on the motion system material on students'
learning motivation before and after treatment, namely the average motivation of
57.58 in the medium category increased to an average of 82.98 in the high
category with N-gain. 0.57 medium category.
The conclusion of this study is that the quality of the Moodle-based emodule
developed from the validation aspect is very valid with an average of
xv
3.54, and the practicality aspect shows that it is practical with an average of 78.4.
The use of the developed e-module can increase students' learning motivation.
The conclusion of this study is that the quality of the Moodle-based emodule
developed from the validation aspect is very valid with an average of
3.54, the practical aspect shows practicality with an average of 78.4, the one to
one simulation test shows very good with an average of 86.94 and small group
simulation is good with an average of 79.32. The use of the developed e-module
can increase students’ learning motivation.
