Pemanfaatan Tepung Daun Eceng Gondok (Eichhornia Crassipes) Difermentasi Menggunakan Cairan Rumen Sapi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)
Abstract
Baung fish (Hemibagrus nemurus) is one of the popular catfish species found in
Sumatra, especially in the Riau area. The availability of these fish in nature has
been reduced due to overfishing and environmental damage so the supply is very
dependent on the results of cultivation. This study was conducted in September-
November 2020 at BBI, Sei Tibun, Kampar Regency, Riau. This study aims to
find out the influence of the use of fermented hyacinth leaf flour as well as the
percentage of the best fermented fermented hyacinth flour in feed on the growth
of baung fish seeds. The container used is a 1x1x1m keramba as many as 15 units,
which contains 20 baung fish seeds/containers and aquariums filled with baung
fish seeds as many as 10 tails/containers for the measurement of feed digestibility.
There is one factor, 5 levels of treatment applied, namely (100:0%), (90:10%),
(80:20%), (70:30%), (60:40%) and 3 repeats. The results showed that the use of
fermented hyacinth leaf flour as a fish feed material was able to reduce the use of
soy flour, this is seen from the increase in the average weight of baung fish banih
each period. The use of fermented hyacinth leaf flour in feed as much as 30%
produces the best growth of baung seed that produces feed digestibility 60.93%,
feed efficiency 46.64%, protein retention 18.73%, specific growth rate 3.85% and
99-100% survival rate.
