A research on the analysis of heavy metals in the river water rod Kumu on housing and neighborhood residents PT. Hutahaean Rokan Hulu based resistivity values. This process begins with taking 10 samples of which five samples of river water and well water samples around five PT.Hutahaean region, then determined the coordinates of the sampling point, the value of conductivity and resistivity values are calculated. Measurements of heavy metals (Pb and Cd) was performed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The results obtained showed that the resistivity value of a great river that is on the disposal of waste away from disposal in the amount of resources 176x
with Pb concentration of -0.7047 mg/l and Cd -0.4146 mg/l, while the value of 107x
with Pb concentration of -1.2340 mg/l and Cd -0.0337 mg/l. In large wells resistivity value is 98x
with Pb concentration of -0.6746 mg/l and Cd -0.0034 mg/l whereas small resistivity value of 4x
with concentrations of Pb and Cd -1.0420 mg/l and -0.0083 mg/l. The results of this study indicate that the river water and well water is not contaminated with heavy metals Pb and Cd because it does not cross the line dipebolehkan levels according to the requirements of the health minister.
