Pengembangan Media Kotak Huruf Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun

This study aims to produce a product in the form of Letter Box Media to improve the
ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years. This type of research uses the
Research and Development Brog & Gall method. The development procedure
consists of several stages, namely potential and problems, gathering information,
product design, product validation, and product revision. In this study, a limited trial
was conducted on 6 children. From the data analysis, it can be seen that the results of
the assessment of the material expert validator and media expert I obtained a
percentage of 82.% with a very decent category with suggestions to change the font
size to be larger. Assessments from material expert validators and media experts
obtained a percentage of 80.4% with a decent category. Furthermore, the assessment
by 5 certified kindergarten teachers received a percentage of 85% with a very decent
category. So it can be concluded that the Letter Box Media is suitable for use in
learning activities to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years.
