Penerapan Metode Brainstorming Pada Materi Siklus Air Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to apply the brainstorming method to the science learning of water cycle material to improve critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach and uses a quasi-experimental method. The design used in this study was the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, where this design used two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group which were selected by wine. The experimental group will be given treatment and the control group will not be given treatment, this research was conducted by giving a pretest before being given treatment and then giving a posttest after being given treatment. The number of students in this population is 34 who are spread over 2 classes, while the instruments used in this study are tests and data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive statistics, namely the calculation of the mean. The results of this study indicate an increase in the use of the brainstorming method on students' critical thinking skills in learning science on water cycle material at SDN 021 Kepau Jaya. This can be proven by the results of the calculation of the mean which shows that the posttest average value of the experimental group is greater than the average value of the control group, with the total posttest average value of the experimental group of 72.50 which is in the very good and average category. the average in the posttest control group was 65.29 which was in the good category.
