ABSTRACT Abrasion that occurs in coastal areas has a negative impact on the environment the coastal area at Bengkalis island. Community participation and other parties are needed to prevent further damage to mangroves and to increase the success of mangrove rehabilitation. This study aims to determine the form of community participation and the role of other parties in the mangrove rehabilitation program in Muntai Barat Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. Data were collected using by in-depth interviews, observation, and document studies. Data processing using Nvivo 12 Plus. Community participation is carried out in the mangrove rehabilitation program in the form of donations of energy, thoughts, expertise, and goods. The parties (BRGM, BPDAS Indragiri Rokan and LSM PMPL) play an active role in the mangrove rehabilitation program through: planning, implementing, evaluating and enjoying the results.
