Pengembangan Big Book Pada Materi KPK Di Sekolah Dasar
This research is a development research that produces a product in the form of a big book on the
material of the least common multiple (KPK) which can be used as a learning media for KPK in
fourth grade elementary school. This research is motivated by the lack of use of interesting
learning media in mathematics subjects, especially on KPK material in elementary schools. This
development research adapts the Plomp development model which has three development
phases, namely preliminary research; prototyping phase; and assessment phase. The research
subjects were 14 fourth grade students of SDIT Imam Asy-Syafi'i Pekanbaru. Big book validation
carried out by validators of media experts, material experts, and linguists obtained an average
percentage of 91.80% with a very valid category. The level of practicality of the big book was
assessed by students and teachers who respectively obtained an average percentage of 93.56%
and 100% in the very practical category. Based on the assessments given by the validator,
students, and teachers, the big book developed is valid and practical.
