Identifikasi Miskonsepsi Termokimia Menggunakan Four Tier Multiple Choice Pada Peserta Didik Kelas XI Mipa SMAN Plus Dan SMAN 4 Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the misconceptions and categories of
misconceptions of class XI MIPA students of SMAN Plus and SMAN 4 Pekanbaru on
the concept of thermochemistry material that has been carried out in the odd
semester of the 2022/2023 academic year and data collection is carried out in
January-November 2022. The samples in this study were students of class XI MIPA
SMAN Plus and SMAN 4 Pekanbaru totaling 207 students. The instrument used in the
study was a four-tier multiple choice. This type of research is descriptive quantitative
with the data collection technique being diagnostic tests. The results of identifying the
level of understanding of students' concepts revealed that the percentage of students
in SMA Negeri Plus Prov. Riau which is included in the category of misconceptions is
36.22% in the moderate category. The percentage of students in SMA Negeri 4
Pekanbaru, the percentage of students who have misconceptions is 36.29% in the
moderate category.
