Implementasi Model Pembelajaran POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pokok Bahasan Laju Reaksi Kelas XI Mipa SMAN 6 Pekanbaru

This research aims to determine whether there is an increase in student learning
outcomes on the subject of Reaction Rate in class XI MIPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru
after implementing the POE learning model. This type of research is experimental
research with the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The
research population was all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. The
sample of this study were students in class XI MIPA 6 as the experimental class
and students in class XI MIPA 3 as the control class. The experimental class was
the class that applied the POE learning model while the control class was not
given any treatment. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the
results of hypothesis testing using the t-test, tcount > ttable is 3.9702 > 1.66691,
meaning that the implementation of the POE learning model can improve student
learning outcomes on the subject of reaction rates in class XI MIPA SMAN 6
Pekanbaru.
