ABSTRACT
An appropriate award from the Ministry of the Environment. This research's objective
was to assess PT PLN UIW Riau Kepri's implementation of its CSR program and to
identify the elements that facilitatedthe implementation of CSR activities. The
utilized theoretical concept is Yusuf Wibisono's theory in (Sumyani, 2021:70),
namely the As a company dealing in the electrical sector, PT PLN is conscious of the
importance of implementing CSR programs. PT PLN develops CSR programs
through the advancement of three areas, namely: economic, social, and
environmental, as a form of social responsibility that is in line with the SDGs. As a
company that handles natural resources, PT PLN's operating activities have an impact
on the environment. These environmental problems must be rectified swiftly in order
to assuage the ire of the local community, enhance the company's image and
reputation, and get planning stage, implementation stage, assessment stage, and
reporting stage. The type of research employed is descriptive qualitative. Data were
gathered through interviews with TJSL PLN UIW Riau Kepri officers, the head of
Tobek Godang village, the head of Public Figure Okura Village, and the MSME
group for women's empowerment. The outcomes demonstrated that the CSR
program's implementation by PT PLN UIW Riau Kepri was good. Because all
planned plans are capable of being fully implemented and and all research indicators
can run well. This is impacted by the company's human resource quality,
communication and the funding commitment.
