Penerapan Metode Neyman-Scott Rectangular Pulse Untuk Pembangkitan Data Curah Hujan Skala Waktu Rendah Kabupaten Siak
ABSTRACT
Rainfall is one of the important parameters in water resources planning and management. This study aims to model rainfall in Siak District using Neyman-Scott Rectangular Pulse modeling (NSRP). NSRP forecasting is used to generate low-timescale rainfall data. The results of NSRP modeling carried out Mean Absolute Error (MAE) testing get a value of 0.051 mm which is close to zero. This shows that the resulting parameters are good enough but there are still some inconsistent data. Therefore, the adjusting method is carried out using linear adjusting procedure and proportional adjusting procedure method to obtain hourly rainfall data that matches the original data. Based on the MAE value per timescale, the proportional adjusting procedure method method gets better results than using the linear adjusting procedure method. This study proves that the NSRP stochastic approach with the proportional adjusting procedure method is an accurate method and the data produced is consistent with the original data.
