Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Kegiatan Dakwah Di Masjid Berbasis Android Menggunakan Metode Rapid Application Development

ABSTRACT
The dissemination of information related to mosque da’wah activities—such as
religious lecture schedules, event registration, and general announcements—is
often done manually through social media. This process typically takes about 2–3
minutes daily and may lead to delays or errors in communication. To address this
issue, this study aims to design and develop a mosque da’wah activity application
for Android using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. RAD was
chosen due to its ability to produce applications quickly while involving users
throughout each development phase. The application was developed using the
React Native framework and utilizes Firebase Firestore as its database. The result
of this research is an Android-based application that enables mosque
administrators to manage and disseminate da’wah activity information more
efficiently. Based on testing, the application successfully reduced the daily
information management time to approximately 0–1 minute. Therefore, the
application can significantly assist mosque administrators in improving the
efficiency and effectiveness of da’wah information dissemination.
