Strategi Komunikasi Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Bank Sampah Agrowisata Ibnu Al-Mubarok Dalam Meningkatkan Pengelolaan Sampah Pada Masyarakat
The Ibnu Al-Mubarok Agrotourism Waste Bank in empowering the community through waste management is an extraordinary attraction. Of course, the success in empowering the community cannot be separated from the communication of the Ibnu Al-Mubarok Agrotourism Waste Bank in inviting the community to participate in every activity they hold. Community empowerment communication is communication that emphasizes the importance of community involvement and participation in the empowerment process. Through communication, community empowerment efforts to advance the community's economy which can later improve their standard of living by improving the ability of existing human resources and managing surrounding resources. This study aims to find out the communication strategy of community empowerment in the Ibnu Al-Mubarok Agrotourism Waste Bank, Pekanbaru Agrotourism Village.
This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects amounted to five informants who were selected using purposive techniques. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. This study uses interactive data analysis of milles and huberman with data validity checkers using source triangulation techniques.
The results of the study show that the communication strategy of community empowerment at the Ibnu Al-Mubarok Agrotourism Waste Bank, Pekanbaru Agrotourism Village, namely the communicator in the empowerment activities carried out by the chairman of the foundation and the person in charge of the waste bank, namely Mrs. Rinwiningsih and members of the waste bank who are experienced and master the material. Empowerment communication messages include waste management and waste utilization. The media and channels used are new media in the form of websites, and social media and group communication channels. The target communicators of the Ibnu Al-Mubarok Agrotourism Waste Bank consist of the surrounding community, community groups with disabilities, community institutions, government institutions, communities, school children and university students. The effects caused by the communication strategy of community empowerment are in the form of cognitive, affective and psychomotor effects so that there is independence and economic improvement of the community.
