Kapabilitas Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes) Dalam Pengembangan Unit Usaha Di Desa Lubuk Garam Kabupaten Bengkalis Tahun 2023

This research is based on the existence of various phenomena related to the development of one of the BUMDes Berkah business units, namely savings and piniam. Some of the phenomena are the lack of adequate human recources, high arrears and lack of the management in managing business units. This study aims to determine the capability of BUMDes Berkah in the development of savings business units by using the capability theory proposed by Leonard-Barton in Zulian (2004). Where data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. Then, the data analysis technique used is using the Nvivo 12 Plus software application which includes data classification, data coding and analysis, data conclusion and interpretation.
The results of this study show that the capabilities of BUMDes Berkah have not yet Fully have the ability to develop the Piniam Savings Business Unit which can be seen in 4 (four) dimensions of capability, namely Knowledge and Skills, Technical Systems, Managerial Systems, Value and Norms. First, in the dimension knowledge and skills, BUMDes Berkah does not have a good enough capacity in managing savings and loan business units and during 2023 there is no participate in training to increase the capacity of administrators. Second in dimension technical systems, BUMDes. Berkah already has Standard operational procedures (SOP) but does not have an adequate information system in the development of the savings business unit. Third, in the managerial systems dimension, BUMDes Berkah has not been maximized because it has not coordinated evenly with the local community. Fourth, in the dimension of values and norms, BUMDes Berkah has been maximized, both from the existence of regulations, usefulness, to the behavior of administrators in providing services to the community.
