Evaluasi Penyuluhan Siber Perikanan Di Desa Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau
This research was aimed to evaluate the condition of cyber fisheries extension and analyze its influence on the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of fishermen in Tanah Merah Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The research was conducted in November 2024 using a survey method with a quantitative approach. Respondents were determined by census technique, involving 46 fishermen. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using paired t-test. The results showed that the cyber fisheries extension in Tanah Merah Village has been running well through digital platforms such as the Marine and Fisheries Cyber Extension (MFCE) website and social media, with a combination of online (4 days) and offline (1 day) methods per week. Cyber fisheries extension has a significant influence on increasing fishermen's knowledge (t = -9.238; p < 0.05) with the average score increasing from 30.000 to 36.957, fishermen's attitudes (t = -22.000; p < 0.05) with the average score increasing from 30.652 to 40.217, and fishermen's skills (t = -19.487; p < 0.05) with the average score increasing from 30.000 to 42.391. This research was recommended increasing the capacity of extension agents and fishermen in digital literacy as well as improving internet infrastructure to support the effectiveness of cyber fisheries extension.
